24.02.2012: the daily life of Rio Park
The daily life of Rio Park’s neighbors is being disrupted by INAER’s activities.
The President of INAER, D. Luis Miñano Sanvalero is trying to make us believe that INAER is a neighbor like any other and suffers from the neighbors’ noise and demonstrations.
Mr. Miñano does not reside in RioPark, so his qualification as “neighbor” is very dubious to put it mildly. Since he does not live here, he does not care about the negative impact of his enterprise’s activities on our daily lives.
Time ago, Mr. Miñano said that he would move out if his activity were detrimental to the well-being of the neighborhood. Since it is obvious that this is the case, we would strongly encourage Mr. Miñano to move INAER to another location.
Mutxamel’s Mayor has not done anything to solve the problem. Apparently, it is very convenient to keep charging fees for industrial activities while, at the same time, increasing our taxes. On the other hand, nothing is said about the water and sewerage projects, which are vital for the future of Rio Park. Some prospective buyers have desisted from buying land, because the infrastructures are virtually nonexistent. Same for an efficient public transportation or a basic health care unit. If we are considered as mutxameleros for taxation purposes, we should also be treated as such regarding the provision of public services.

I would never have bought the house in 2003 if we had known that Inaer would be part of the airodrome. I love Rio Park but not with Inaer over our heads. I say: we should do all we can do to make this company move out of our region.
