Estimados vecinos:

EL PRÓXIMO VIERNES, 30 DE MARZO, VAMOS A MANIFESTARNOS FRENTE AL AYUNTAMIENTO DE MUCHAMIEL/MUTXAMEL A LAS 13:00 HORAS, AL MISMO TIEMPO QUE SE CELEBRA EL PLENO MUNICIPAL, DONDE ESTARÁN EL SR. ALCALDE Y TODOS LOS CONCEJALES DEL CONSISTORIO.

¿POR QUE?

PORQUE EL ALCALDE, CON LA EXCUSA DE QUE NO TIENE EL DINERO QUE RECAUDA DE NUESTROS IMPUESTOS, HA DEJADO DE PRIORIZAR LOS ASUNTOS DE RÍO PARK Y TENEMOS QUE VOLVER A INSISTIR A ESTE AYUNTAMIENTO, QUE LOS VECINOS NO PODEMOS SEGUIR ESPERANDO MÁS. HACE FALTA, AUNQUE SEA POCO A POCO, EL ESTUDIO DE SOLUCIONES A LOS PROBLEMAS LARGAMENTE REIVINDICADOS Y RECONOCIDOS POR EL SR. CAÑADAS, CUANDO ERA CANDIDATO A LA ALCALDÍA...CLARO.

Y PORQUE ES UNA PROMESA QUE EXIGIMOS QUE CUMPLA POR LAS SIGUIENTES CONSIDERACIONES:

Se va a cumplir pronto un año desde que el Excmo. Alcalde de Mutxamel, Sr Cañadas, y su Nuevo equipo de gobierno tomaron posesión de su cargo, estableciendo las nuevas directrices de su mandato. Durante su campaña electoral, el Sr Alcalde afirmó que sería prioridad de su Partido, PP,-si ganaba los comicios-, trabajar firmemente para solucionar los numerosos problemas de Desarrollo Urbano que el gobierno socialista dejaba sin concluir. El Sr. Cañadas se proponía entonces como meta la creación de empleo y proveer de mejores servicios a la población. Sin embargo, por ahora, la Urbanización de Río Park carece de las infraestructuras y servicios básicos. Los impuestos y otros gastos pagados a la Municipalidad no han revertido en servicios a su comunidad.(Leer el periódico Información, 4 de Marzo 2011)

Los vecinos de Río Park no creen que el Sr. Cañadas pueda realizar todas sus promesas en un corto periodo de tiempo, pero lo que no se puede aceptar es que ni una sola de las mismas se hayan implementado. Queremos algo a cambio de nuestros impuestos y otros pagos. Por ejemplo:

1. SERVICIOS E INFRAESTRUCTURAS BASICAS. - Los vecinos carecen de ALCANTARILLADO y no hay signos de que éste se vaya a realizar por ahora. Desde luego que los propietarios tienen otras alternativas para disponer de los residuos en sus viviendas. El problema es que este procedimiento– pozos negros- va contra la Normativa de la Comunidad Europea. ¿Está al tanto de esto el Sr. Alcalde?

También hay numerosos otros descuidos por parte del Ayuntamiento :aceras en precario estado o inexistentes; descuido de las zonas verdes comunes; parcelas abandonadas y sin vallar, como requieren las Ordenanzas municipales para evitar focos de insalubridad; calles que se inundan con las lluvias; señal muy deficiente o inexistente de la T.D.T.; vallado y acondicionamiento de los terrenos urbanos, existentes en las fases de Río Park sin terminar, que incrementa la imagen de descuido municipal en la Urbanización; mantenimiento del alumbrado público deficiente…

2. SEGURIDAD. - Los vecinos de Río Park necesitan más presencia de la Policía ó Guardia Civil en la Urbanización para evitar los robos y actos de vandalismo. Solicitamos, a fin de evitar alguna tragedia, una mayor señalización para la correcta regularización del tráfico rodado y medidas como reductores que limiten la velocidad en la Urbanización, por ejemplo en la C/ La Anhidrita.

3. COORDINACIÓN CON LAS AUTORIDADES LOCALES. - Totalmente inexistente y por ello la Asociación de vecinos ha solicitado al Sr. Alcalde el cese en el cargo, del titular en la Concejalía de Relación con las Urbanizaciones. Aunque se haya nombrado un Concejal para atender y visitar las diversas Urbanizaciones, nunca ha programado, en tiempo y forma, una reunión con los vecinos de Río Park. Recientemente el Concejal, Sr. Miguel Angel Fernández anunció, (72 horas antes, de las cuales 48 eran en fin de semana), un inesperado y urgente paseo por alguna zona de la urbanización. Lamentablemente muchos vecinos, que hubieran querido acompañarle, no pudieron asistir ante la precipitación de la visita y quedando ésta catalogada como ineficaz en su objetivo y más cercana a la propaganda de índole político.

4. PLAN DE ZONAS. - Otro problema muy serio son los humos contaminantes que la peligrosa actividad industrial de INAER ha instalado en Río Park, con absoluto desprecio a que ésta sea zona URBANA,NO INDUSTRIAL; nunca el Ayuntamiento de Muchamiel lo debió permitir. INAER está en conflicto con la Regulación medioambiental de la Comunidad Europea. Los vecinos sufren por las actividades peligrosas que se llevan a cabo en el área del Aeródromo: despegues y aterrizajes a 100 mts de las casas, y vuelos sobre los tejados de los vecinos. INAER tiene un historial muy trágico en accidentes de helicópteros; estos se han incrementado en los últimos años. Las quejas al Ayuntamiento sobre las actividades industriales de INAER, no han sido tenidas en cuenta durante años. Eso sí, se han cambiado los planes de la zona en beneficio de INAER. El Gobierno local no protege los intereses de nuestra zona, sólo los de un “residente” que no vive en el municipio. ¿Debemos acudir a la Comunidad Europea en defensa de nuestros derechos?...

5. EL GOBIERNO DE MUCHAMIEL NOS HA DEFRAUDADO. El Sr. Alcalde hizo unas promesas en Marzo 2011, pero no se ha preocupado de iniciar proyecto alguno. Está incumpliendo su palabra electoral. Esta Comunidad de Río Park no descansará hasta que se dé prioridad al interés general, favoreciendo al mayor número de ciudadanos, y en Río Park la mayoría somos los vecinos que residimos.

Quejarse en casa no soluciona nada, no se lo pongamos tan fácil.

ON FRIDAY, MARCH 30, at 13:00 H., PLACE OF MEETING FRONT CITY COUNCIL MUCHAMIEL / MUTXAMEL WHILE CELEBRATING MUNICIPAL FULL.

WHY?

BECAUSE THE MAYOR, WITH NO EXCUSE THAT RAISES MONEY FOROUR TAX HAS STOPPED PRIORITY ISSUES OF RIVER PARK AND WEINSIST THAT THIS RETURN TO CITY COUNCIL THAT THE NEIGHBORSCAN NOT BE EXPECTING MORE. NEED, BUT IS SLOWLY, THE STUDYOF SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS FOR LONG RECOGNIZED DEMANDED AND MR. CAÑADAS, WHEN I WAS A CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR ...COURSE.

AND WHY IS A PROMISE TO MEET DEMAND FOR THE FOLLOWING CONSIDERATIONS:

It has been about one year since the new local government begun its mandate. Mutxamel’s Mayor, Mr. Sebastián Cañadas, during the course of his election campaign stated that the Popular Party of Mutxamel would set as a priority, if it would win the local elections, “to provide to the needs of the urban developments, which had been unfulfilled by the Socialist government.” Mr. Cañadas said that “the two main objectives of his party are employment creation and the provision of better services. The urban developments lack proper infrastructures and many basic services. They pay taxes and fees to the Municipality, but they do not see how this results in much needed improvements.”Información Newspaper, March 4, 2011).

Rio Park’s neighbors do not expect that Mr. Cañadas’ promises could be implemented in full in such short period. What is not acceptable, however, is that not a single promise has begun to be implemented. We have paid our taxes and fees and would expect to see something in return. What is the situation?

1. Basic infrastructures and services. The communities still lack a sewerage system. There are no indications that any system will be built for the time being. The owners have to use alternative procedures to dispose of the residuals, which are against the European Union regulations. Many walkways are in a pitiful state or are simply nonexistent. Maintenance of the common green areas is spottily taken care of. Many vacant or unoccupied lots have not been properly fenced, as the regulations require.

2. Security. Regular, systematic rounds by the police and the civil guard have been greatly diminished, particularly at nighttime. Lack of respect for the traffic signals has also increased as well as a disregard for speed limits in Anhidrita Street.

3. Coordination with the local authorities. Totally inexistent, in spite of an officially appointed councilor in charge of relations with the developments.For this reason, the Association’s Board has asked for his immediate resignation. He’s never conducted any meeting with the neighbors of the development, except for an impromptu, unannounced short visit, late in the evening, to conduct a “tour” of the development and chat with the few neighbors that have heard about it.

4. Zoning Plans. Another serious problem stems from the hazardous industrial activities implemented by INAER, with total disregard of the fact that this is a urban development where no industrial activity should be permitted. This operation is against the European union regulations concerning the environment. The neighbors have to suffer from all kind of harmful and potentially dangerous activities, as the airport facilities, landing and taking off strips are about one hundred meters from the neighbor homes, and some operations take place just above the residents’ roofs. This concern is enhanced by INAER’s bad history of all kind of accidents in recent years. Again, nothing has been done, but to amend the zoning plan to provide INAER with further benefits. The local government’s goal of protecting and developing the population’s general interest seem limited to one “resident” only.

5. The current local government’s policies are totally disappointing, and fall very short of what should be the behavior of public officials. Therefore, we energically request from Mr. Cañadas and his team that they begin to implement all those promises made in March 2011. We will not rest until we see that the general interest is actually taken into account and given its due priority.

To remain at home does not help to protect our rights.
